Another favourite is Bolton Abbey Estate, A sprawling estate along the River Wharfe, featuring the ruins of Bolton Priory, scenic walks, and a variety of family-friendly activities. A great local Manor to visit is Leven’s Hall in Kendal, home the worlds oldest topiary garden. The privately owned home is also open for tours. Plus the on-site cafe does some delicious cakes!
